My Definition of Beautiful

My Definition of beautiful is two part.

1. I think that God has instilled in us certain things that we naturally find beautiful. I believe this is different in everyone. The beauty God creates something with does not change. Only maybe He gives each of us different perspectives to see it from. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

2. I think that our life experiences also have a large part in defining what we think is beautiful. Whether good or bad experiences, they shape our interpretation of what something is.

These two form what we perceive as beautiful. Of course I am sure there are millions of other things that could be added, but I think these are the two things that influence me.

Attitude about Family

You know, I always grew up thinking a certain way about my family. I always thought they were tough enough to handle whatever came their way. I guess my mentality was that IF anything should happen to one of them, I would kill for them if needed. I always thought that meant that I really cared for them.

I have been thinking (dangerous I know) and have come to a new conclusion.

My mindset should be that I should die to keep anything from happening to them. My care and love should go before them, not after them. I should if possible prevent rather than pour out pain.

What it all entails!

Well, I am getting closer to having everything close on the house. The Mortgage company is looking REALLY, REALLY closely at my finances, and I am praying :)
It should all be fine, but the next few weeks are going to be a little nerve wracking for me!
Spending money on surveys and inspections, then having money for closing and actually moving in and turning on the utilities! Such a new learning experience for me! I really don't know what I am doing, but learning TONS as I go! :)
Trying to get the water turned on for my inspection on Friday! They say there is a due bill, but its not mine. I guess it doesn't matter if they wont turn the water on :)
Well, to be in my house by Christmas would be AMAZING! My mortgage guy called my work today to verify I worked there. Ironic that I answered the phone! He told me that his company does amazing things for their people, so I will see how soon I actually close :)
